    Question ipod shuffle

has anyone else been stupid enough to put ipod shuffle through the washing machine never noticed it in my daughters jeans pocket until I was doing the ironing!

I've tried drying it out on the radiatior and when I plug it into the usb port its being seen and I can see its playlist on itunes but it won't play and when charging has blinking orange light instead of steady orange light (don't know if this makes a difference or not)

if anyone else has had experience with this, can you let me know if I am beating a dead horse in trying to charge it or should I keep on?!?!?

Leave it to dry thoroughly before you plug it in again. The shuffle is all solid state compared to other iPods and there is no display to get damaged by water. You may be lucky if you let it dry out.

The blinking amber light indicates you should not disconnect the shuffle from the computer - this is due to it syncing with iTunes.

cheers MadPict. think its pretty much dead though, I've had it charging since 9 this morning and its still orange light and won't play even when connected to pc . will leave it a few hours longer though and hope it does work again - tried claiming on insurance but excess is £50 and thing only cost £69 so not worth it

Don't wrestle with pigs, you just get all dirty and the pig enjoys it.
