Default problems with my printer and hi-fi

Does anyone out there know how to fix a printer or a hi-fi ?. The printer is feeding the paper in only on one side and my hi-fi works fine for a while then shuts itself down i think when i turn up the volume its shuts down quicker .

The printer isn't by any chance an Epson is it? Had a similar problem where a penny fell into the printer's paper feed (it was an angled feed at the back of the unit) and slid into the mechanism blocking it.

If the roller is turning but the paper not feeding then check for any obstruction on the side that's not feeding.

If your hifi is switching off sooner when you turn it up, then it is 90% likely that something is overheating and tripping out, most likely the powersupply.
