we went there 2 summers ago -- i wouldnt go back -- had booked 7 days but only lasted 3 -- nothing to do except swimming pool ( which is great), slot machines but not much else .evening entertainment was ok for the adults but for small kids it was boring

We went to Haggerston Castle {same people I think} thought the same it would be okay if your kids were about 10 and wanted a bit of freedom on holiday.

We went a couple of years ago - cost a fortune - you pay for everything apart from swimming and swing park. Millions of slot machines. Kids actually enjoyed it. had to complain about accommodation we stayed in a chalet that was mingin and smelled of smoke (probably quite a good thing as the alternative smell would be worse). Certainly wouldn't recommend it!

we went a couple of years ago and accommodation was meant to be superior but was minging. the cleaner brought us a bottle of vinegar, sorry white wine as an apology. Supposed to be non-smoking but place stank of smoke. Manager totally uninterested and again nothing much for the kids to do except squander money on the slot machines. Would defo not go back.

    Default craig tara

we too went there a couple of years ago and it was like staying in a hen shed on a prison camp we were supposed to have a luxury caravan but instead got a minging wooden chalet that was filthy!
We too complained all to no avail its only saving grace was the food as we went half board but the rest was absolutely horrendous wount recommend to anyone. But can recommend another Haven site called Presthaven Sands, it is the complete opposite of Craig Tara and we have had many happy hols there and if you like country and Western there are two specialist weeks each year that are out of this world!
Wherever you go I hope you have a wonderful time!

    Default sundrum castle

we stayed at sundrum last year.. had a good price and the kids had a blast.. it isnt anything fancy.. but has a good pool, and swing park.
    loads of slots.. and games.
and best of all there are loads of attrations in ayr.. and pirates petes is a must for a little one.. and loudon castle! my younger son was only about a year and a 1/2 and he had a blast.. most of the rides at loudon are for the wee ones.. but go early as it is only open from 10-4 and you do need all that time!
