    you could get someone to knit one or cut the sleeve off an old jumper and sew up the end.... Just a thought lol, or go to a fishing shop and get the white woolen ones.

    You could always buy extra large socks. Seriously though, a resin-impregnated slipper sock would be ideal and offers numerous benefits over plaster. apply the sock over a plastic bag and the plaster wont get dirty/wet. I think superdrug and 99p shop and maybe semi chem do these socks, with rubber bits at the bottom, Maybe Boots would have something better.I know for definite that they do these socks too.

    This being the festive season why not make full use of the Christmas sock U hang up for Santa.
