Hey All
Caithness Shinty have started training for the year. We have a few events coming up including a tournament in St Andrews, a tournament in Kinlochbervie and our annual Kenny "Nostie" MacLeod memorial match against Sutherland. If you are interested in playing shinty, or just getting fit and having fun, come along! We dont take ourselves too seriously and everything is casual.
Please spread the word as well, it would be great if we could get more players to help us bring home some silverware this season.
This Training session will be in Thurso, just off Duncan Street, on Saturady 8th Feb, starting at 10am. All you need is clothing you will feel comfortable exercising in and some football boots or trainers. We have sticks and balls borrow.
below is a picture of where we train and a link to the facebook event.
Hope to see you there!

Would you advise on any head protection? Dont fancy a bunch of amatuers with sticks and a unprotected head.
I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore
Not essential for training and we won't be going hard! However I have a helmet you can borrow for training if you feel it's necessary.
