    Default DAB radio

Does anyone in Caithness have a DAB (digital) radio? Is so what is the coverage like, because according to all the coverage postcode check websites, there is no coverage up here.

    Thanks.

I'm particularly interested to hear if we can get the service via DAB radio portable/personal radio sets, not via TV on satellite/freeview.

    Thanks.

Have DAB radio that also tunes into FM, which is just as well cos there is no DAB signal in Thurso that I can pick up.

No DAB signal in Wick. I use my DAB radio on FM and I find that the reception was better on my old radio.

We are told that there are currently no plans in the near future to expand DAB into the north of scotland - eventually but don't hold your breath!
    Find CFM on 102.5

From what I've read about DAB it's not much of a loss. Some stations transmit at low bitrates, some in mono only.
