    Exclamation NOT more deer

Sorry but with the weather taking them down from the hills, I too was out photographing those red deer.

    Meet Prongs

Lovely photo's Kas, but how sizist (as in size) of you! It ain't the dimensions of yer antlers but what you do with them!

The last one was a mile south of Altnahara, first one Loch Rangag and middle Kimbrace.
Thanks everyone, I sure had some wonderful days out watching them. Just a shame the weather has hit them so hard.

They all have their merits, but the great thing is the way you have waited for the perfect moment when the deer was looking into the lens.

Three is a great example of how to take a portrait, yet keeping the sense of reality by not completely removing the background detail.

Being further from the subject, not as easy in two, but it benefits from the background interest, being more of a 'in habitat' shot.

Cannae beat a beast on snow!

    All great.

    Thanks for sharing.
