    Default Otter Duncansby Head

Otter seen swimming towards Duncansby Head about 50m out.
Spotted from Duncansby beach, Bay of Sannick this afternoon.
Thats the first one i've seen at that location.
Anyone seen any in this area ?

My mate who lives just down the road has seen them on the beach between Sannick and Groats. One time his dog came back with one in its mouth. Lucky dog!! as the otter just took off when it dropped it.
    Away with the birds

That's certainly a new one on me!

After all the trips I've done over a couple of seasons on that stretch of coast, I thought that I'd have seen them by now. Amazing.

Just goes to show, you should never assume anything.
