Just watching the 1951 original (one of the finest Sci-Fi films ever made) and having recently watched the remake you just have to wonder why they bothered and wasted all that money. It is simply dull and too say Keanu is wooden is insulting to trees he should have studied Kevin Spacey in K-Pax to learn how to act like an alien (or not if you've seen the film)
