    dragonfly,

The harbour shot has lovely colours, particularly in the water, but the one I like best is the first of the Boating Pond, great contrast between the sky and the soft sheen of the ice on the pond.

Like them both but the boating pool with the soft snow has the edge for me.

thanks all I love the boating pond sunset one too, just delighted I was there at the right time!

I got my new lens home today and 1st impressions of it are super, just gutted I was working today so couldn't go out and play with it but the quick snaps I took at lunchtime were enough for me to know it was a good buy, the colours and sharpness are great!

Supposed to be getting ready for christmas dinner tomorrow, but think I will leave the peeling of sprouts to the kids and get out with camera to see what its really like
