Requiem for a dream

Watched this for first time in years and didnt remember how good it was can be a hard watch but worth it. Like Trainspotting deals with addiction but Requiem makes that look like a tourist film for Edinburgh/London and has some great acting by the 4 main characters to boot. Burstyn was nominated for an oscar for her role but would say Connelly was pick of the bunch.

It was on Sky and can recommend watching but not if your easily offended or just wanting to sit back with some popcorn to enjoy a movie!

i seen that movie for the first time about a year ago on Sky. Must say it was really interesting! And as you say...not for the easily offended!

Brilliant film tho. Dont want to go into detail for people who have not seen it but its good!
