That would be good to see christina, but it's overcast here in Wick.

What time is the likely show time?

I was looking forward to seeing the shower but I went out only to see clouds! Apparently the 17th will be a good night to see them again - here's hoping it's clear!

On the sky at night explained the meteor shower could best be seen between 8pm and 4am on the 13th and 14th but as kevin said its over cast here in wick.

I saw some on the saturday night and they were bright and seemed slow burning and quite impressive.

Has no one on here seen or read The Day of the Triffids?

You're asking for trouble watching meteor showers. Of course if you don't mind going blind and then being gobbled up by man-eating plants that can walk, then go ahead and enjoy the view.

Anyone caught a glimpse tonight? The sky is now clear in Wick but I haven't seen any yet.
