I use a 400mm zoom lens. I am Marine Mammal Medic for the BDMLR this brings me into close contact with Marine Mammals.
Pictures are taken and used for evaluation.

You can get quite close to most forms of wildlife, you just need to know where to find your subject and how to approach without disturbing and have the right equipment to get your picture.

    Thanks Liz.
The other guys do a lot more than i. I spend the week working so am not available during the day apart from weekends.
All credit should go to those who work at the seal hospital run by Heather and Jamie Dyer.
You might appreciate these pics taken today on my trek around Caithness.

    Hi Colin

Thanks for another two great photos.

Don't be so modest! I am sure Heather and Jamie are really grateful for the help you give them.

I so admire the work they do and really hope Orgers will find it in their hearts to send them donations to help them look after the sick and injured animals which inhabit our wonderful coastlines.

Thanks also to our other Orger Thumper for the great work she does at the hospital.

Keep the photos coming Colin as I always enjoy seeing them.

    Liz
