I spend most of my working days in front of a computer and as a form of relaxation I have established a whole load of interesting sites. (Well, they interest me anyway) So I thought I would post some URLs.

The first one is on Picasso. Did you know that just about every one of his works - in chronological order - is available on the web. They make terrific screen savers. Go ahead and impress the family with your knowledge of modern art. Go cut and paste:

I remember when I used to ride the high chaparral around Davidsons Lane with my trusty cap pistol. Grown up and gone to university, snobs in the American History department used to tell me that the Open range was over by the 1880s and there were no cowboys anyway. It was all Hollywood.

And this will be my last of the day. This is the niftiest program. Create your own newspaper! This stores a ton of newspapers from all over. You can arrange them all into your own newspaper and open it every morning to get your news facorites. I read the Scotsman, the New York Times and the San Francisco Chronicle this way every day. Try it.. It's fun and useful.

Its been raining nearlly all day here so was trolling Caithness site for hidden gems.There lots.
Tomorrows forecast even worse ,wet and very windy so if i can get on the computer i'll give these a go.thanks for that.

ANOTHER SATISFIED CUSTOMER!

I was attacked by an enraged bull. I was hit hard and thrown up about 15 feet, tumbling head over heels. I landed in front of the bull who then butted me, rolling me to my back and running over me, planting his left foot squarely on my upper chest. When he stomped on my chest I was certain that he would crush it and my heart and lungs. Amazingly, my only injuries were a broken sternum and some subluxed ribs and clavicle joints. Quite sore but alive! Next day I cleaned the muddy hoof print off the left upper chest surface of the coat I had been wearing...my FILSON TIN CLOTH PACKER COAT. I feel that the almost armor-like quality of the caped part of that coat probably saved my life.

Hey Rich, if you like art (as well as Picasso), check out http://artchive.com/ftp_site.htm

They have representative pictures from all the famous artists and some I had never heard of before.

Also since you seem to like the Old West, make a note that if you're ever in Los Angeles, skip a day at Disneyland and go to the Gene Autrey Museum. I was dragged along there some years ago expecting some cheesy Hollywood style thing but was very pleasantly surprised. It does have stuff about the movie cowboys, Autrey himself, Tom Mix, the Duke, the Man with No Name, etc, but compared and contrasted to real life in the olden days. It also sometimes has visiting exhhibits, and we were lucky enough to see one about the history of the US Marshalls Service, which was fascinating.

Thank you, Mr. Brims Sir. That is an excellent site. I found a great essay on Edward Hopper. (He would have beein inspired by Mina Villa!)
But that left nav bar is tedious because it gets in the way.
