Default As I trip (To the tune of Proterra)

As I walk up the stairs
Why do I always miss the step
As I climb to the second floor
    Why do I just forget

    Carpet burns, hurting knees
I feel pain, but do not scream
    crushed by embarrassment
hear the thrill of your voice

    When I last fell down
    I come crying to you
    When I last fell down
My pride was breaking in pieces

    Bonjela take my hand
the open wound rough like sand
    bruising skin, bleeding gums
    paper towels for the blood

    Thumbs up

Interesting poem, Invisible. I like it!
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!
