Isn't Phil Collins above Steve Gadd?

    Readers need their lugs checked!

I had a listen to both playin' with the Buddy Rich Big Band, and to be fair to him, Phil Collins isn't as bad as I just made out. A nice touch.

But I do reckon Steve Gadd should have been higher than him. And a good few others. For me, the fact is that on hearin' Phil Collins with BRBB it could have been anybody, whereas with Steve Gadd it could only have been Steve Gadd.

Too many good drummers to pick from but as someones already put up a Portnoy link and he's probably my favourite i'll post a link to my second favourite drummer Neil Peart.Cant really split them, love them both.
It lasts about 8 mins, some of the things he does is just crazy. He goes mental at 6 mins. 40 secs.
Love the last 3 mins of it especially.

I used to like a lad called Billy Rowntree playing, he was a fellow geordie and used to accompany a few famous artists freelance.

But my favourite sound has to be TIMPANY played in huge orchestras.

Ho ho. Cheers. It's about time people started realising that my opinion is the only relevant one.

That gorilla off the chocolate advert was pretty good, but Ginger Baker did it for me and it's already been said "it's down to an individuals taste".
