Just delete it and forget it.

Whatever you do don't open the Links.

If they want to contact you they will sent a letter by post..

It's spam, i get about 20 or so of these per day but only for teh past 3 or 4 days, it's a new one!
they have been very clever and if you actually just hover the mouse over the link they provide it is the actual HMRC web address with a little tiny bit added on to the end - they are getting better at these scams, beware!

As everyone says it is SPAM so just Trash it. I am getting around 50 to 100 of these every day and I find it quite annoying indeed.

If you have never gave the inland revenue you're email address then you will know its spam, there are so many different emails on the go just now for inland revenue / banks / paypal / ebay etc anything they can think of to con money out of you, if any of these people needed to contact you it would more likely be by snail mail than email.

At least they are getting it right now, HM Revenue and Customs. I used to get loads from the IRS, maybe I have a clone in the states with the same email address.

Don't worry, just use the millions and millions your gonna get from the Nigerians and their 419 Scams.

A quick tally of today's offers puts me somewhere near the top 10 richest peeps in the world. Once I have sent them all my credit card and bank details, sold my granny etc. etc. etc.
