Caithness Mod Awarded £35,000 By Scottish Government
Speaking on the opening day of the Royal National Mòd, the Minister for Gaelic Michael Russell announced further support for the Scottish Government's drive to create a new generation of Gaelic speakers. The Minister awarded £35,000 for the Royal National Mòd to appoint a Gaelic development officer to take forward plans for the 2010 Mòd in Caithness and to support Gaelic learning in the area. ...
