Apologies once more for sticking this in the General section, since there's only one day away and I'm off tomorrow! Thought everyone, including the Lybster folk and folk in the surrounding area would like to know that there's a group of people over from the States at the moment that you would be interested in hearing!

From California and on their way to Mòd Oban, Mòd Ghallaibh 2010 are delighted to let everyone know that Donnie 'Large' MacDonald and a group of 11 musicians and supporters from the States will be playing in the Portland Arms Hotel in Lybster, tomorrow night (Friday) 9th October starting at 9pm although the craic will probably start long before that!!! It should be a great evening and features Caithness Artistes including members of Melvich Gaelic Choir who will be joinging Ceòl California in competition at the National Mòd in Oban next week. Admission is free although a donation can be made at the door. A raffle will also be held in support of Mòd Ghallaibh 2010 funds. No matter where you're from - there's always a welcome in Kaitness! Thig a nuas!
