    Default Nick Keir

Song I wrote about Nick Keir who plays with the McCallmans and also a successful folk solo career. Saw them way back about 1997 and to this day can remember alot of the concert a night that got me into music. I am his Facebook friend too which is cool cos he is a really down to earth chap.

    I remember caravaning
    on holiday in Granton
    McCallmans were playing that night
    a memory of being young

i saw them stand up on the stage
we were in the front row
my brother, father, mum and I
    we really enjoyed the show

    after the show had ended
    my brother bought a tape
went up to Ian Nick & Derek
got their signature that was great

years later i saw in the shop
    fishing up the moon
i played this cd which i bought
    and it was rather good

Nick Keir i heard him on the cd player
    Nick Keir playing his guitar
Nick Keir singing on the cd player
    Nick Keir the star

    audio available on www.bebo.com/RJMMUSIC

Don't know whether you're aware of the fact that Derek Moffat sadly died some years ago from cancer.
Before he went, he said that he'd had a wonderful life thanks to his Folk Music carreer.
    Sadly missed.
