    Found this today at Westerdale,all my books are packed and don't recognise it.

    Identification is very difficult amongst the numerous fungi types. The closest I can come is:
    Lizz - no.1 looks like Hygrocybe punicea; no.2 could be a Hygroporous

    The others I am not sure about.

    It helps if you can see the stalks, have some idea of the habitat and what they smell like.

    Found them in the short grass opposite Westerdale Mill, have also seen the white ones in the fields above Sannick Bay
    The pink/red ones seem to grow into the larger Chanterelle type that I posted if that's any help.
