the last one is the bridge at westerdale, the shots were taken this afternoon but going by the soggyness of the grass down there i guess it had been higher this morning!

If you don't mind giving out some secrets:
Does this use a neutral density filter, and if so, what sort of range of values do you use?

I've always loved these shots of moving water but never managed it myself.

no secrets

no filters used at all, just changed the f number to as high as it would go (f29), camera on tripod, remote release, ended up 1/3 second exposure.

After seeing those, I was saying to Tugs, "I have been drinking single malts for some time, but never thought about their colour before - but now I realise, youve only got to look at the water here, and the colour of Old Pulteney, and it all makes sense!
