    Default catcher in the rye.....again

read this years ago...and dident give it too much thought just the ramblings of a teenager.....
take two.....having just finished it again...realised that the 17 year old..is going thru a lot of pain ...loosing his brother, failing at school, nothing to look forward to,now i just feel his dispair...the book hasent changed any ...its my thinking thats changed....
The miracle is not to fly in the air,
or to walk on the water, but to walk on the earth.

One of my all-time favourites. My 12 year old son picked it up recently and asked if he could read it but don't think he's old enough yet. I was quite young when I read it first and it was pretty overpowering for me and had a big emotional impact. Maybe when he's a wee bit older yet.

First read it when i was 14/15. Then again not a long time after. Really good book and has a powerful story.
