Caithness Moths - Double Dart
Although the intial impression is that Double Dart is a confusing "little brown job" identification is straightforward and there are no confusion species. The oval mark, kidney mark and "darts" are the same colour as the rest of the wing but they are finely edged in black. The cross line is also edged in black. An uderstated and but, nevertheless, attractive moth which is on the wing now and should be with through to August.
