Now my daughter got her kitten she is struggling to give it a name

Does anyone have a good name for it?

How about something a bit different - gatito (Spanish for Kitten) or gattino (Italian for kitten) ? I think they sound lovely and pretty much guaranteed not to be any other cats in the street answering to the same name.

Well I was going to suggest gato (Spanish) or Neko (Japanese) for cat.

    Default kittens name

When I got my Westie puppy I didn't want all the usual "doggy names" so I called her Heather because she is Scottish and white. I always think it adds to mystery as well when we refer to her by name in conversation as folk think she is a human Why not call the kitten something like Susan or Lucy. If that fails what about Tango (orange)
