    Default Caithness Moths - Pine Beauty

    The Pine Beautybecame abundant in the north during the 1970s when it took advantage of the many new pine plantations that were established at that time. It is considered a pest and can cause severe damage in commercial plantations. This one was in Dunnet Forest.
