    Question

Nice shot MPH, but why title it "haunted" on flickr?

Well it looks like it could be haunted, thanks to MPH's fantastic special effects!

I can imagine it as the opening scene for a creepy film, and the narrator (in a Vincent Price voice) announcing that this is the home of the much feared vampire of the far north..... the dreaded Count Dunbarcula!!!
I am living for today, always remembering yesterday, and looking forward to tomorrow!

my 1st impression was spooky so I can see why MPH entitled it haunted - think its the green hue thats coming off the building

(didn't haunted houses always look greenish in Scooby Doo??)

It probably has bats. Just not out playing when the photo was taken perhaps. I used to love watching the bats at night when we stayed on that side of town.

Foundation stone laid in 1882 following a donation from a benefactor from the Scrabster area whose name eludes me just now. In the front hall are boards with annual charitable donations which funded the hospital for many years.

Reminds me of the Addams Family House, Look out foe LURCH !!

Deep into that darkness peering, long I stood there, wondering, fearing, doubting, dreaming dreams no mortal ever dared to dream before.
