Per the notice in the Groat, they were wrongfully disqualified from the MacKenzie Trophy competition during the open day held on Feb.18th. A complaint had been made but was in error because of "a misinterpretation of the rules."
I see an apology was given to the Watten Bowling Club in the Groat. Does anyone know what happened that they needed an apology?

I believe that the Watten team changed their order of play and this was alledged to be against the rules (incorrectly) by a Wick team.
