    Default Distant Cousin Nomenclature?

    I have recently got in touch (via Genesreunited)with a chap with whom I share a Great Great Great Grandfather. We share the same surname as we are both from male lines. How would I describe him as in a 'nth cousin nth removed' etc.

    How does it work?
