    I was just putting out some rubbish and I think I heard a corncrake somewhere east of the house. I waited another 10 mins but nothing. Is it possible or too early?

    yeah its possible you could hear one now they will be sorting territories out amongst themselves so you could well hear them
    If its profound what was the name of the golfer and what did he find?
