The '90s were pretty much a dead decade for me.

The decline of Iron Maiden, the birth of Grunge and the general indulgence of the now established Heavy Metal merchants left me cold.

There were some highlights of course, early on in the '90s, but mostly it was forgettable tosh.

Hulahoop Wounds - At The Drive-In
Be Quiet and Drive (Far Away) - Deftones
    Enough Space - Foo Fighters
    Nowhere Fast - Incubus
    Grace - Jeff Buckley
    Dry Riser - Kerbdog

    Anything from Radiohead,

    most things from Blur,

    everything from Pulp,

the bits of the Stone Roses from the 90s.

individual songs that I can think of:

    Sit Down - James

The Day We Caught The Train - Ocean Colour Scene

    Good Enough - Dodgy

    Road Rage - Catatonia

Wake Up Boo - Boo Radleys (over played but still, what a song)

    Tragedy - Steps??

As soon as I'd seen that Kenneth had replied I knew he'd put the La's

Is kenneth actually jody henderson? He used to go on about the la's being the greatest band ever.

Anyway, the more musically sophisticated may have noticed that it's possible to sing the lyrics from Sit Down over the top of The Lion Sleeps Tonight by The Tokens.

I was floored by the realisation and am currently recording a version of it. I think i may do it twelve times, once in each major key.
