Default Sausage 'N' Bacon Dish (cheap n cheerful meal)

Cooking Time: About Half an Hour
You Need: Large Pan with Lid

Feeds 2 people but just increase amount of sausages/bacon for more people.

    1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
    6 Pork Sausages
    6 Rashers of Back Bacon
2 Large Onions Peeled and Sliced
1 Garlic Glove, to bring out the flavour
    2 Peppers, Sliced

    1. Heat the oil in your pan to medium to high heat, add sausages and cook. Once ready remove them from pan and place to one side on a plate.

    2. Add bacon to the pan and cook for 2-4 minutes. Remove from pan and place to one side on a plate.

    3. Now put your sliced onions and garlic into the pan and cook for 5 minutes.

    4. Add the sliced peppers to this and cook for a further 2 minutes. Return the sausages and bacon to the pan.

    5. Lower the heat til medium, cover pan with lid, and leave to cook and let all the flavours mix for 5 minutes.

    6. Serve with mashed or boiled potatoes or chips if you prefer.

I might give this a go next week. Will substitute for low fat sausages and bacon though.

Will try and make it healthy as possible.

Sounds good to have with some tatties, cauliflour, brocoli and brussel sprouts! Maybe some green beans too!
