POOR DOG!

My dog Benjy has broken his leg and because it is in an awkward place the Vet says it would be best done by a specialist in Edinburgh. This means he will be away for ten days!

This is the first time I've had to deal with this type of injury and I wondered if anyone had anyone experience of this especially if it was done in Edinburgh.

I need reassurance!

Please no wise cracks (no pun intended!). I ain't in the mood!

if he is being sent to the "Dick Vet" the Royal College of Vetenary Surgery then he is going to the in the best hands they are supposed to be the best in the world

Hi Golach!

I think so but I'll find out today.
The Vet did say he was going to the best man to do this type of work.

My head says he'll be fine and will make a good recovery but my heart tells me I'll miss him like hell! He's my constant companion and the thought of being without him for ten days is unbearable.

Thanks though for the reassurance.
