Info on CORMACK family required

I have some info on my wifes family (Cormack) they originated from Caithness. Her GG Grandfather moved first to Wales and then back to Glasgow in the late 1800's. If anyone is researching the Cormack Family I would be interested to hear from them.

I don't know if this is of any help or use, but I had a great uncle James Meiklejohn Miller, born in Wick, Caithness in 1883. He married Janet (Jessie) Manson. She was the daughter of Sinclair Manson and Catherine Cormack. If this is of any use, let me know. I have some hsistory on the children, etc.

there son George Cormack born 11 Jan 1826 m Elizabeth Simpson 6 Dec 1850 Dunnet I have 9 children for them..

John 1 Nov 1851, Sinclair 21 Sept 1853, Alexander 1 Aug 1855, Isabell 29 Sept 1857, George 18 Oct 1860, Christina 17 Mar 1864, Walter 8 Mar 1867, Robert 22 Jan 1870, Elizabeth 17 Jan 1873.

I have Cormacks in my family.

So far I have found an Alexandrina Cormack born in 1845. She was married to William Manson 22/12/1865 (William was born in 1839).

I believe Alexandrinas mother was Alexandrina Sutherland and her father was William Cormack but I have no more details than that.

Alexander Cormack(5) and his children all moved to the states NY then Connecticuit. The three sons went on to Santa Barbara Ca.
George Alec and James all passed away in Santa Barbara. Peggy and Bella stayed back east were they too passed away.
