    headed out west today with a thermos of soup and boy was it needed!

    Portskerra Harbour


    viewpoint between Strathy & Bettyhill


    lots of frozen lochs but this was the prettiest I saw near enough to photograph


    Starting to play around with the exposure now, some I got right others I didn't!!

    I agree with MPH, the practice is definitely paying off, there are some very good photographs there, Torrisdale Bay and viewpoint between Strathy & Bettyhill particularly catch my eye.

    its down on Scrabster Beach CM, usually they are gushing (so much so they can create huge chasisms in the sand) , not trickling like in that photo

    Love the pic of Torrisdale Bay, wonder if I could do it justice as a watercolour!! You have really impressed me with your pics!! I have a lot of catching up to do plus I need a decent camera to start with
