can anyone else see the pic cos I can't
The first flower I have photographed this year is the Winter Heliotrope (Petasites fragrans). Several sites have disappeared, so this one, in the hedge below the Park Hotel in Thurso (on the rugby ground side of the road) is the only one I know about. It differs from the White Butterbur by having smaller rounder leaves and finer flower stems and the petals are mauve to white. Is there any more anywhere?
Sorry folks, I can't get the picture to show!

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
I guess you mean this one taraxacum .... link is to westernisles website

If its profound what was the name of the golfer and what did he find?
Hi, Count - I meant the one below which works when you click it but doesn't work when I put it into the "post a picture" icon. What am I doing wrong?

Not counting snowdrops, daisy and Gorse this is the first wild flower i've come across.
Not a clue as to it's name.
Tussilago farfara flowers before the leaves appear.Grows weedy places in uncultivated soil.
Can be used for medicinal purposes.
