North Light, I love the tones in your second photo, post 44. It almost looks like a painting.

Not as dramatic as some previous posts, but here is a selection from this afternoon at the Thurso harbour area (17/01/2009). Also nice to have a chat with Northlight who was also in the vacinity.

    wicker05,
    Dramatic.

    Deemac,
Really like the two sea wall photo's, that wall has a nice curve.

My sea-front afternoon walk was with the compact, had been out in the morning with the heavy-duty stuff, but it was such a nice afternoon a walk on the sea-front seemed like a good idea, oh and Deemac, enjoyed the chat.

he he compared to the others this is like a mill pond, lovely pic.

Wonder what it would be like now if you could find a big enough boulder to use as an anchor.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

    Well caught, wicker05!

I love your two sea wall photos, Deemac, especially the second one!

North Light, that's a super sea front photo. I like the way that wave roll on the horizon sits almost in the middle of the pic!

Great stuff wicker05 and Deemac! I will have to come over to Wick one of those days...

Did you stay dry Deemac? The wall shot looks very daring!

Yes, but there were a few moments of wave dodging. At least I didn't suffer Northlights soaking earlier in the week. Dangerous business this wave photography!! (but great fun).
