Default One Foot in the grave

They say I might as well face the truth
That I am just too long in the tooth.
So I'm an OAP and weak-kneed
But I have not yet quite gone to seed.
I may be over the hill now that I have retired
Fading away but I've not yet expired.
Clapped out, run down, too old to save
    One Foot in the Grave.

They say I might as well face the truth
That I am just too long in the tooth.
    I've started to deteriorate
And now I've passed my own sell-by date.

Oh, I am no spring chicken it's true.
I have to pop my teeth in to chew.
And my old knees have started to knock
I've just got too many miles on the clock.

So I'm a wrinkly, crinkly, set in my ways.
It's true that my body has seen better days.
But give me half a chance and I can still misbehave.
    One Foot in the Grave.

Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Thanks for that Victor, er, I mean Golach! And here's the rest of it, written by Eric Idle. It's from "Eric Idle Sings Monty Python".

    So I知 losing my hair
And my spine痴 a bit kinked
I may be rare, but I知 not yet extinct
I知 an oldie, moldy, too old to rave
    One foot in the grave
    One foot in the grave

They tell me I am well past my prime,
The landlord in the sky痴 calling time,
But there痴 one thing that he ought to know
I am not yet ready to go

I know I知 old but I知 not a freak,
I should be cherished like an antique,
But every time I have a slight cough,
I知 worried they値l start switching me off.

So I知 a wrinkly, crinkly but don稚 send a cheer,
I知 not exactly a little old dear,
But one things for sure I知 still bloody well here.
    One foot in the grave
    One foot in the grave.

Music and lyrics by: Eric Idle
