Putting Thin Lizzy on stage without Phil Lynott is like putting Orville onstage without Keith Harris.....it's just not right

Yup, No offence to the other members of Thin Lizzy but without Phil Lynott it just isn't right.

I'll post a gig review next week.

As I mentioned in a previous thread a while back, I saw the current Lizzy line up in Aberdeen last year.

    Shredfest.

    Nuff said.

Who's in thin lizzy now? Sykes and gorham?

Surely it's only a matter of time before tracii guns joins.

yeah lets us ken how it goes DavidB.

Whilst Thin Lizzy without many original members might not be the purist's choice, i hear they still put on a damn fine rock show.

    The gig was great.

Just under an hour and a half.

Pretty much the Live & Dangerous set with Cold Sweat and Black Rose.

Both guitarists, Gorham & Sykes, were in splendid form.

Tommy Aldridge did his usual drum solo with no hands. Superb stuff.

There was a good crowd and at £30 a ticket it was good value.

The Ironworks promoters are to be congratulated for getting good bands up here - even if it is a long way from Caithness.
