a packet of the fresh linguine
two bits o salmon (whatever your preference for portion size)
broccoli (as above)
lump of stilton - grated
double cream
pine nuts

steam e salmon, steam e broccoli, whilst they are steaming away, get yer linguine on to cook. make sure and dinna over cook yer broccoli or salmon. Pour yer double cream into a thick bottomed pan, when brought up to temp, add yer stilton, stir til it melts, if it appears a wee bit too thick for yer liking, add a wee drop milk.

drain and fire the linguine into a bowl, put the broccoli florets and roughly flaked salmon on e top, sprinkle some pine nuts over, spoon over the quantity of sauce required. I put a wee grate of freshly ground pepper on the top to finish - i don't use salt, so season to your preference.
garlic bread to mop up, or ciabatta, or whatever ye lek.
