Default what plants to grow in wet area

    Hi,

Can anyone suggest what would grow well near my septic tank...
It's rough grass with dockleaves and nettles at the moment but very wet and boggy. I was thinking of putting something in there that might thrive in the wet and take over from the weeds. It's in full sun too (when it's out! )

    any advice welcome! thanks

A gunnera would love those conditions and they grow great up here - its basically a giant ornamental rhubarb.
Some people are like Slinkies. They're really good for nothing. But they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.
