DFS Sofa Delivery

I fancy a sofa from DFS, but they are charging £150 delivery to Thurso. I just wondered if anyone else had bought a sofa from them and found a cheaper way to get it delivered? They have branches in Aberdeen, Edinburgh and Paisley.

I found a suite I liked in DFS in Edinburgh but thought the haulage home was a bit steep. Did some checking and found the same suite in Grattan catalogue on 52 weeks interest free credit, delivered free and almost £100 cheaper than the DFS price. I gave DFS the benefit of the doubt in case they had quoted me incorrectly and got the reply "Go buy it at Grattan then".

Remarks like this have lost many a company trade.
