But they have to win at Rovers. Not an easy game at all

What was the score between Swifts and Wick Groats last week anyone?

    Congratulations Lads - great effort.

Same approach in the HA Cup Final and I'm sure the two major cups will be back in Dunnet, where they belong in Dunnet.

Pentland Utd cannot take much satisfaction from league win, they had to keep relying on other players from outwith Caithness to give their team a boost in the big games, perfect example is one of the guys that played in tonights game also played against them for Golspie in Saturdays win.
Does'nt put out a good message to their up and coming players if they cannot get a game due to these guys.
I would say winning without any respect for their club or Caithness Football.

scotsman1, what a load of rubbish that post was really. Be sensible. Most PU players are from Caithness.

Can you name the players you are talking about?

There are no rules in CAFA to say all players have to be born in Caithness !!!

Scotsman does have a point, they have habit o "cherry picking" every year and do make the changes dragging from the south as pleases them for the bigger games.
Enjoy it now there is no second lap.

I was speaking to one of the Jog boys on the day of the final that Luke Cassidy played in and I was led to believe that he happened to be home visiting his family that weekend, rather than being 'taken up'.

I think that sums it up really, taking up different players for bigger games.

However, at the end of the day, disregarding everything else, more often than not Pentland United win and that is all that matters.
