Thread: Radovan Karadzic - a prisoner at last

Default Radovan Karadzic - a prisoner at last

What a fantastic piece of news to hear that Radovan Karadzic has been captured at long last. I hope his sidekick general Mladic (not sure of spelling) is soon alongside him in jail.

It was heartbreaking to see the footage on the news again tonight of the men and boys being marched off to their deaths in Bosnia all those years ago and the mass graves being examined years later.

How could we have let this happen in the middle of Europe?

Will you be so ecstatic when Bush and Blair are finally indicted?

It's worse than I thought. He's been a practising homoeopath. Not only is he an indited war criminal, he's a quack.

A legal argument would be nice. As a registered seer at PSY Help Energy, I can tell you now that a "war of aggression" is not what you likely think it is. An actual example is Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait. Furthermore, a case for breach of international law requires proof of this, not necessarily an absence of a legal case approving the relevant action. Examples including Saddam Hussein's repeated flouting of binding UN resolutions from 1991-2003.

And certain Lancet reports are barking mad. And the invasion of Iraq was wrong.

Now, what does this have to do with arrest of the scumbag Karadzic?

Which practices that have been illegal that are now legal would you like to discuss. Btw, legal practices in the USA are in flux according to need.

I've just seen the latest pics of karadzic and i must say, he would have fooled me with his disguise
God, grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change,
Courage to change the things I can,
And wisdom to know the difference.

Depending on their needs, the definition of torture is in flux therefore it's legality. Is that enough for you?

Come on now Rheghead, the guy looked like Peter Sellars having a bad day.
Do you honestly believe our security forces had no idea where he was or what he currently looked like?
This is going to be a show trial, that is all.
