There are no turf growers north of Nairn, to the best of my knowledge. And if there are, can I ask them to post here? And market their services?
I hope you won't go to Homebase. I don't seek litigation, but any turf supplied by Homebase is already dead, given the miles it has to travel . . . it was probably grown in Holland, like the rest of their plants. Although this is only speculation on my part, and merely a personal expression of opinion. And if necessary, I will append the caveat "allegedly".

Better to pay a delivery charge for Scottish turf which will live, than . . . well, do I need to say more?
There are neither rights nor wrongs in gardening. Only experiences.
