    Default The Crossburn, Latheron

On my birthday my husband decided to surprise me, he told me to pack an overnight bag. I didnt have a clue where he was taking me. Anyway i would never have guessed that he was taking me to a bed & breakfast in Latheron. The Crossburn was absolutley fantastic, from the moment we arrived Jane and Michael looked after our every need. The house was immaculate and the food was magnificent. There was a big selection on the menu. We had Salmon. It was delicious and the homemade sweets were to die for. After dinner we sat and relaxed in the lounge with the open fire and enjoyed an Old Pulteney Liquer. Afterwards we went out to the garden and used their lovely hot tub. It was fantastic lying back in the bubbles relaxing in the private back garden with a wine and looking up at the stars.
I would thoroughly recommend The Crossburn. They specialise in Romantic Nights. I would never have dreamt a better birthday treat and we didnt even have to travel far.

Never knew it existed. Seems like we have heaven on the doorstep. A wonderful looking place for that special occassion.
Families are like fudge - mostly sweet with a few nuts.

    Default Crossburn

My OH and I have just spent the weekend at Crossburn, for my birthday. Jane and Michael are the best hosts we have ever come across. They think of everything. Jane is an amazing cook, and the pair of them made us feel really relaxed. I'd recommend a couple of nights here to anyone wanting to get away from it all without having the stress of a long drive.

    Default Highly Recomended

Cant recommend the Crossburn highly enough, was given the night as a wedding gift and loved every second of it, nothing was a problem to Jane or Micheal, the service was first class and the food was to die for, they even made us a Pavlova in the shape of a heart which was beautiful, finished the evening with a glass of champagne in the hot tub, overall a tremendous experience, give it a try if you want to be pampered.

I think your hubby will be over the moon with his present! At the Crossburn, you will both be made to feel as if you are the most important people in the world. This place has to be experienced to be appreciated.

Thumbs up The Crossburn, wonderful place!

Just had a surprise overnight stay here for my birthday, it was amazing. When we arrived there was champagne, chocs and roses waiting in our room. Jane had laid on a fantastic Indian feast (pre-arranged with my other half)) which was so huge we have brought rest home. The outdoor hot tub was incredible, even had my favourite music playing on the built in stereo. Hosts Michael and Jane are lovely people who cater for your every need and make you feel really relaxed. Would thoroughly recommend this to anyone looking for a special night away from it all!
PS Breakfast in morning was brilliant too
PPS Thank you Simon for the best birthday ever. x
