    Default Weed Problems

I have vine weed creeping in from my neighbours garden and its strangeling everything in its path. Anyone got any ideas how to deal with this problem or how to kill it off ? ( the weed not the neighbour !! )

That'll be bindweed, I guess - Convolvulus. I assume it is twining around other plants, so you can't spray it.

Make up a solution of glyphosate - Round-up - and use a paint brush to apply it to individual leaves. The chemical will be absorbed, and taken down to the roots, and kill the plant even if it is next door!
There are neither rights nor wrongs in gardening. Only experiences.

Thanks a lot, will give that a try. Would that be a 50-50 mixture?
