Default Speckled Wood Butterfly in Dunnet Forest today

Saw a Speckled Wood butterfly in Dunnet Forest this afternoon:

I believe they are quite rare this far north (http://www.butterfly-guide.co.uk/spe...ds/andal16.htm). Anyone seen one in the area before?

Butterfly looks great against the green needles - great catch!

Yes the Speckled Wood Butterfly is quite a find this far North but it seems to be extending its range. I think the first record from Dunnet Forest was in 2006.
