    Default blackbird fledgling

was out for the day yesterday and when we got home I found a blackbird fledgling flapping around in the living room trying to knock itself out on the window!

I caught it in a towel and released it in the garden but I wish I stopped long enogh to take a photo of it now!

Has anyone else had birdies in their houses this year?

I have had no birds so far this year. But in previous years I had a female blackbird that visited for a number of years until she just didnt come back one year? I quite often had to put her out the house, especially when she had young she was desperate for food and would tap on the kitchen window and wait at the back door. She would sit on the fence and when she seen you walking into the kitchen she was begging again. She was a great little bird but I suppose they all have to go the big garden in the sky at some point. But I have one of her sons starting to visit now. Only reason I know hes one of hers is his white markings.
