Looking for mechanic / pre MOT check

Can anyone recommend someone who would be willing to look at my VW LT35 ex minibus (for a small fee) to check what it would need for an MOT?

I usually just book the vehicle in for an MoT during the month before it is due. If the vehicle passes and the old certificate is presented before the test then the new test certificate is extended to include the extra weeks.

If a small repair is required the garage will usually do it there and then and no retest fee is payable.
